Govt Declares Public Holiday To Celebrate Jigawa State’s 34th Anniversary

The government has declared a public holiday to celebrate Jigawa State's 34th anniversary, which was created on August 27, 1991, during the state creation exercise that also gave birth to Yobe, Enugu, Bauchi, and Kogi States. In a statement issued by the State Head of Service, the Governor congratulated the people of Jigawa and urged residents to participate fully in the festivities scheduled across the state.
