Prominent Leaders Attend Abdulsalami's Autobiography Launch

The launch of General Abdulsalami Abubakar's autobiography took place in Abuja, attended by prominent figures including former Nigerian leaders Yakubu Gowon, Olusegun Obasanjo, and Goodluck Jonathan. The event was represented by current President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima, alongside former Vice Presidents Namadi Sambo and Yemi Osinbajo.

Other notable attendees included Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Deputy Senate President Jibrin Barau, Speaker of the House Tajudeen Abba, and Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu. Traditional rulers such as Sa’ad Abubakar III and Enitan Ogunwusi were also present, along with several royal fathers from across the country.

The ceremony featured the unveiling of three books, including a festschrift honoring General Abdulsalami Abubakar, who is recognized as a grand patriot of Nigeria and a mediator for peace in Africa.
