Kebbi Group Accuses Politicians of Orchestrating Malami's Detention

The Kebbi Emancipation Network has accused politicians Adamu Aleiru and Atiku Bagudu of being behind the detention of former Attorney General Abubakar Malami, alleging it is a ploy to thwart Malami's rising popularity. The group's Secretary-General, Musa Sani Kalgo, highlighted the alleged political motives behind the detention, linking it to the electoral chances of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and the African Progress Congress (APC) in Kebbi State.

The group called for intervention by Kebbi elders to address the situation and ensure justice. This accusation has sparked widespread concern in Kebbi and Northern Nigeria, with calls for caution in handling the case and demands for Malami's immediate release.
