Benue State's Tyoshin Association Begins Resettlement of Displaced Communities

The Tyoshin Development Association (TDA) in Benue State has commenced the resettlement of families displaced by Fulani militia attacks in parts of Makurdi and Gwer West Local Government Area. Led by President Tina Tarnongo, the TDA is spearheading efforts to rebuild schools, homes, and provide security escorts for farmers to safely return to their fields.

Despite progress, a significant number of internally displaced persons (IDPs) still face challenges in returning to their ancestral lands. The TDA's resettlement drive aims to restore normalcy for affected communities, with calls for increased support from the Benue State government.
