New Micro-Finance Bank Launched in Ekiti State

A micro-finance bank has been established in Ekiti State, Nigeria, with the chief mission led by Bishop Oluwaseun Fagbohun. During a press conference held in Ado Ekiti, Bishop Fagbohun emphasized that the group aims to assist people in accessing the financial resources they need.

He expressed concerns about the rising inflation and its impact on the economic situation in the state, which has compounded hardships for residents. The initiative, which officially started in Ekiti State, is also seeking partnerships with organizations such as Tocim, a food bank, and Tripom, to address various societal needs.

Bishop Fagbohun highlighted the importance of tackling hunger and promoting ethical living, urging beneficiaries to embrace righteous living as a means to transform the nation. He noted that hunger undermines moral judgment and weakens citizens' ability to make ethical decisions.
