Group Condemns Nigerian Government and Police in Osun State Council Crisis

A movement, led by Comrade James Ezema, strongly criticizes the Nigerian Federal Government and Police for allowing an impostor to occupy a local government office in Osun State, despite judicial rulings nullifying the tenure of the chairmen and councilors sponsored by the Progress Congress (APC) in November 2022. The Federal High Court in Osogbo invalidated their positions, a decision upheld by the Court of Appeal on February 10, 2025, and reaffirmed on June 13, 2025.

The movement accuses the impostors of unlawfully withholding statutory allocations due to the local government in Osun State, causing harm to the community. The group warns of the dangers of flouting the law and undermining democracy, urging for the normalization of financial support to prevent further destabilization in Nigeria.
