Guardiola and Gibbs-White Win Premier League Awards

Pep Guardiola, the current coach of Manchester City, has been awarded his 13th Premier League Manager of the Month award for April 2024. Under his leadership, Manchester City achieved a perfect record, including victories over Arsenal (2-1), Chelsea (3-0), and Burnley (1-0).

This award places Guardiola third in the all-time list, two awards short of Arsène Wenger's 15 and Sir Alex Ferguson's 27. This marks Guardiola's second monthly award of the season, having previously won in February.

Meanwhile, Morgan Gibbs-White, captain of Nottingham Forest, was named Premier League Player of the Month for April 2024. He played a crucial role in helping his team avoid relegation, scoring four goals and providing an assist in three matches, including a standout 15-minute hat trick in a 4-1 comeback win against Burnley.

Gibbs-White is the second Nottingham Forest player to receive this honor, following Chris Wood.
