Fernandes Matches Ronaldo's Record; Arteta Wins Manager Award

Bruno Fernandes, the captain of Manchester United, has equaled Cristiano Ronaldo's record by winning the EPL Player of the Month award for March 2025, marking his sixth career win. During this standout month, Fernandes contributed two goals and four assists across four league matches, helping United secure victories against Crystal Palace, Newcastle, Aston Villa, and AFC Bournemouth.

He surpassed David Beckham's long-standing record of 15 assists in a season, reaching 16 assists and sitting four short of the Premier League single-season record of 20, held by Thierry Henry. Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, was awarded Manager of the Month for March after guiding his team to victories over Chelsea, Brighton & Hove Albion, and Everton, which helped Arsenal open a nine-point lead in the title race against Manchester City.

This award marks Arteta's eighth Manager of the Month accolade, placing him alongside Martin O'Neill and Harry Redknapp in the all-time list.
