Guinness Nigeria Promotes Mentorship on International Women’s Day

On International Women’s Day, Guinness Nigeria PLC organized a panel session at its headquarters in Ogba, Lagos, aimed at promoting mentorship and inclusion within the corporate landscape. The event brought together corporate leaders and development experts to discuss strategies for empowering women and creating sustainable value.

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer emphasized the importance of empowering women as a social responsibility for businesses. The session included a keynote address by the Executive Director of Operations at Stanbic IBTC Bank, who highlighted the need for continuous engagement in mentorship.

Amobi, the Human Resources Director at Guinness Nigeria, described mentorship as a key driver for leadership development and encouraged progress in women's representation across Nigeria's corporate landscape. The discussions explored the role of empathetic leadership and the importance of institutional gender inclusion strategies to overcome structural barriers that limit women's advancement.
