Trump expressed frustration over Iran's refusal to abandon its nuclear program, reiterating threats to bomb Iranian water treatment facilities and power plants. The blockade aims to prevent Iranian control over shipping lanes, with Trump asserting that the US Navy will interdict vessels in international waters that do not pay tolls to Iran.

He emphasized that any Iranian aggression would be met with military force. The situation escalated after a six-week conflict initiated by a US-Israeli strike that killed Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
