Gunmen Demand ₦150m Ransom for Abducted Defence Ministry Directors

Gunmen have abducted six senior directors from the Nigerian Ministry of Defence and are demanding a ₦150 million ransom for their release. The victims include Ngozi Ibeziakor, C.

Emerib, Helen Ezeakor, C. Ladoy, J.

Onwuzurik, and Catherine Essien. The incident took place on Monday along the Kabba-Lokoja highway while the directors were traveling from Lagos to Abuja.

The Defence Ministry has condemned the attack, with statements signed by Shehu Mohammed and Joshua Apebo. Families are pleading for the safe return of their loved ones.
