Haldane McCall Reports N754.8 Million Profit, Declares Dividend

Haldane McCall Plc announced a pre-tax profit of N754.8 million for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2025, a decrease of 25.6% from N1.01 billion in 2024. The company's total revenue for the year was N2.27 billion, down from N3.64 billion the previous year, with significant contributions from land and building sales amounting to N1.3 billion, which accounted for 57.6% of the revenue, while hotel operations contributed 35.1%.

The cost of sales decreased to N471 million from N1.5 billion in the prior year, resulting in a gross profit of N1.8 billion compared to N2.05 billion in FY2024. Operating income sharply fell to N3.2 million from N20.8 million, with administrative expenses at N1.05 billion.

The balance sheet showed total assets at N21.8 billion, slightly down from N21.9 billion, while total equity rose to N17.1 billion. The board declared a final dividend of 5 kobo per share, payable to shareholders on June 18, 2026, down from 7 kobo in FY2024.

Chairman Georg Oguntade expressed confidence in the company's ability to sustain growth despite macroeconomic challenges.
