Harrison Gwamnishu Confirms 44 Clothing CEO Evelyn Onyema Safe

Human rights activist Harrison Gwamnishu provided an update regarding Evelyn Onyema, the CEO of 44 Clothing, who had been reported missing for two days. Gwamnishu noted that she was last seen with her boyfriend, Dertrick, around the Bonny camp area.

Following his public alarm, a video circulated showing a female body floating in a Lagos river, leading to speculation about the identity of the deceased. Gwamnishu acted swiftly, funding divers and boat operators to retrieve the body.

In a subsequent video, he announced that Evelyn is alive and has returned home, with confirmation from her brother and a friend via video call. While this news brought relief, the identity of the woman whose body was recovered remains unknown.

Gwamnishu urged anyone with a missing female relative to visit Bonny Police Station to assist in the identification process as authorities continue their investigation.
