Presidency Source Exposes Scam Involving Shettima's Aide: Nollywood Industry Deceived

A source from the Presidency revealed that Umunubo, an aide to Shettima, was dismissed for engaging in fraudulent activities within the creative industry under the guise of the presidential office. Umunubo allegedly made false sponsorship promises to filmmakers and creatives, including author Arese Ugwu, for events and marketing campaigns that were never fulfilled.

Documents showed Umunubo using his position to sign deals worth millions without delivering on the commitments. The source disclosed a pattern of leveraging proximity to power to deceive Nollywood practitioners, leading to multiple scams and fraudulent activities.
