Senator Kingibe Reveals Phone Clash with Wike

Senator Ireti Kingibe revealed details of a heated telephone exchange with the Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nyesom Wike, during a political program on Friday. Kingibe described the situation as urgent and indicated that she had repeatedly called Wike until he eventually answered.

The conversation quickly escalated into a shouting match, with both parties raising their voices. Following the intense exchange, Kingibe reached out to Senator Godswill Akpabio, the Senate President, who intervened by initiating three calls to help resolve the dispute.

Although the specifics of the disagreement were not disclosed, it was confirmed that the matter was eventually settled after Akpabio's intervention. Kingibe expressed her determination to address the issue, stating that she would go to Wike's office to discuss the matter further.
