Sowore Alleges Tinubu's Involvement in Defence Minister's Resignation

Nigerian activist Omoyele Sowore has alleged that President Bola Tinubu requested Defence Minister Mohammed Badaru Abubakar to step down citing health reasons. Sowore claimed on Facebook that this move was to facilitate the appointment of former Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, as the new Defence Minister.

Additionally, Sowore accused the Nigerian government of pressuring the resignation of Minister of State for Defence Bello Matawalle. This situation draws parallels to the removal of an "utterly useless" Minister of State for Defence in the United States under President Donald Trump, as per Sowore's assertions.
