Obi Advocates Health Development as National Progress Catalyst

Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, visited the Anglican Church Hospital in Kubwa, Abuja, where he underscored the critical role of health development as a catalyst for national progress. During his visit, Obi stated that health is foundational to human capital, which in turn accelerates economic growth and social stability.

He highlighted the need for investment in health education and infrastructure, warning that neglecting these areas would yield diminishing returns. To support the hospital's development, Obi donated N10 million, which was received on behalf of the hospital by Rt.

Rev. Duke T. Akamisoko, the Anglican Bishop of Kubwa.

Akamisoko commended Obi for his charitable spirit and expressed hope that the church would continue to pray for political pursuits in Nigeria. Obi's visit also included commiserating with patients at the hospital clinic.
