Millions in Nigeria Unaware of Chronic Hepatitis Infections

Millions of Nigerians are living with chronic Hepatitis B and C infections, often without knowledge of their condition due to the silent progression of the diseases. The World Health Organisation (WHO) reports that hepatitis B and C cause over one million deaths annually, primarily from liver-related issues.
