Nigerians Prefer NNPC Over Dangote for Cheaper Fuel Amid Price Disparity

Nigerians are choosing NNPC over Dangote for fuel due to the latter's higher pump prices. Dangote Refinery, owned by Aliko Dangote, is facing reduced patronage at its fill stations in Abuja.

NNPC has lowered fuel prices twice in the past two weeks, leading to a significant drop in customers for Dangote. Billi Gilli Harri of the Petroleum Product Retail Outlet Owner Association of Nigeria warns against focusing solely on cheaper prices as it could lead to deeper supply issues in the sector.
