MR Oil Displaces NNPC as Cheapest Petrol Seller in Nigeria

MR Oil has overtaken NNPC as the cheapest place to buy petrol in Nigeria, thanks to a strategic partnership with Dangote Refinery. The partnership has enabled MR Oil to sell petrol at a lower price than NNPC's retail price, with prices as low as N739 per liter.

This move signifies a shift in the downstream oil sector, with competition intensifying and logistics costs being significantly reduced. Dangote Refinery aims to directly supply petrol to further lower pump prices.

Despite initial denials, the refinery claims to have supplied 43 million liters of premium motor spirit.
