Nigerian celebrity chef Hilda Baci has set a new Guinness World Record for the largest serving of Jollof rice, weighing an astonishing 1,087.3 kilograms (2,396 lb 9 oz). This feat was achieved in partnership with the food brand Gino at Victoria Island, Lagos.

The confirmation of the record was made by Guinness World Records via Twitter, acknowledging the achievement that brought Nigerian cuisine to the global spotlight. Hilda Baci shot to international fame in 2023 and continues to promote Nigerian culinary excellence.
