In a video that circulated online, Badmus hissed and altered her facial expression upon hearing Bakare's name.

In response, Bakare took to her Instagram page, labeling Badmus as a nuisance and an ingrate. She expressed her frustration over Badmus's behavior, stating, "Must you always damage my character publicly?" Bakare accused Badmus of attempting to undermine her and declared that she would not allow Badmus's insecurities to distract her from her journey.
