Laide Bakare Raises Alarm Over Sons' Safety Amid Custody Fight

Nollywood actress Laide Bakare has raised serious concerns regarding the welfare of her two sons amid an ongoing custody dispute with their father. In a video shared on Instagram, Bakare stated that she felt compelled to go public due to her fears for her children's safety.

She accused her former husband of limiting her access to the boys and claimed that their stepmother mistreats them. Bakare alleged that she overheard the stepmother instructing others not to leave visible injuries on her children but to strangle them instead, which she recorded as evidence.

Despite reporting her concerns to her former husband, she claimed he has taken no action. Bakare also mentioned that he has prevented her from renewing the children’s passports, hindering her plans to have them live with her in the United States.

She is now appealing for public support to gain custody of her sons, expressing distress over the situation.
