Afro Nation Festival 2026 Features Wizkid, Burna Boy, Asake

The Afro Nation Festival 2026 took place from July 3 to 5 at Praia da Rocha, Portimão, Algarve, Portugal, marking it as one of the world's largest Afrobeat festivals. The event featured a stellar lineup, including Nigerian superstars Burna Boy, Asake, and Wizkid, who delivered captivating performances that energized the crowd.

Burna Boy celebrated his birthday during the festival, engaging with fans and performing hits that showcased his status as a global star. Asake took the stage on the second day, performing songs from his recent album, while Wizkid closed the festival with an electrifying set of his biggest hits.

The festival also included performances from other notable artists such as Gunna, Kehlani, and representatives from various African music scenes, highlighting the diversity of genres. Afro Nation, which launched in Portugal in 2019, continues to expand its influence, with the next edition scheduled for June 9-11, 2027.
