Covert Operation Exposes Arms Trafficking Network in Kaduna, Leading to Arrests

A successful covert operation in Kaduna, led by Governor Sani and Sule Shuaibu, exposed an arms trafficking network supplying bandit groups in the region. The operation, part of Kaduna's peace model, resulted in the arrest of three suspects transporting weapons hidden in maize sacks.

The suspects were apprehended in different locations, including the Nnamdi Azikiwe Bypass and the Kaduna-Abuja Expressway. The recovered arms, including AK-47 rifles and ammunition, were destined for a notorious bandit network in Niger State.

The operation highlighted the effectiveness of intelligence-led security tactics and inter-agency collaboration in combating insecurity in the region.
