Kaduna's Gunrunning Crackdown Exposes Role of Small Arms Trafficking in Nigeria's Insecurity

The recent arrest of suspected gunrunners in Kaduna State by the Kaduna Police Command has exposed the significant involvement of illicit arms trafficking in exacerbating insecurity in Nigeria. The recovered AK-47 rifles and ammunition were linked to a network spanning the northwest region.
