Actor Yemkem's Health Struggles After Stroke Role

Yoruba actor Olayemi Jimoh, popularly known as Yemkem, recounted his battle with severe health complications following his role as a stroke patient in the movie "Jogodi." This incident occurred approximately two years ago after he returned from a filming location in Itoko, Abeokuta, Ogun State. Yemkem began experiencing alarming symptoms, including speech difficulties, shaking legs, and facial movement issues.

He was advised by those around him to seek medical attention, which led him to consult a doctor who recommended reducing body fat and prescribed medication. Yemkem spent N450,000 on treatment and faced significant financial strain, even selling his car to cover medical expenses.

He initially kept his health struggles private but later disclosed them as his condition worsened. Additionally, he is currently experiencing financial difficulties and is at risk of losing his home following the death of his landlord.
