IHS Towers Cuts Carbon Emissions by 21.4% and Trains 140,000

IHS Towers, under the leadership of Chairman and CEO Sam Darwish, has released a sustainability report indicating a 21.4% reduction in its carbon emissions, measured against a 2021 baseline. This reduction pertains to Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions, with the company also training 140,000 students in digital skills as part of its initiative to develop Nigeria's technical talent pool, which aims to reach three million.

The report covers sustainability activities from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025, demonstrating IHS Towers' ongoing commitment to its stakeholders, including employees, customers, suppliers, local communities, regulatory bodies, and shareholders. The company emphasizes its dedication to advancing digital inclusion and delivering meaningful impact across four sustainability pillars, recognizing the critical role of expanding access to education and economic opportunities.
