Despite the government's efforts to promote Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) as a cleaner and more affordable alternative, challenges in distribution and availability persist.

President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of a Governing Council for the Midstream Downstream Gas Infrastructure Fund (MDGIF) to address these issues.
