Abuja Contractors Protest Unpaid Debts, Block Finance Minister's Office Entrance

Abuja contractors protested outside the Federal Ministry of Finance, preventing the Finance Minister, Dori Uzoka Anit, from entering due to alleged unpaid debts totaling 4 trillion Naira. The contractors demanded payment for projects completed, leading to scuffles and gunshots fired by security personnel.

The Abuja Contractors Association, led by Jackson Nwosu, warned of drastic actions if payments were not settled. The contractors accused the government of reneging on agreements and failing to release funds allocated in the budget for their projects.
