Usama stabbed by wife Fatima Dalha in Bauchi dispute

On October 25, 2026, Usama, a 30-year-old man, was allegedly stabbed by his 18-year-old wife, Fatima Dalha, in Dass Local Government Area, Bauchi State. The Bauchi State Police Command confirmed her arrest following the incident, which stemmed from a domestic dispute over money, wrappers, and a phone.

Malam Yunusa Yusuf, Usama's father, recounted that the conflict began on the night of October 23 after the couple returned home from prayers. He advised Usama not to sleep in his house due to the escalating tension.

However, on the morning of October 25, Usama returned home to fetch water for ablution when Fatima allegedly stabbed him in the stomach. A female relative claimed the dispute was linked to infidelity, stating that Fatima had previously caught Usama with another woman.

The police reported that Usama was taken to the hospital following the attack.
