NITDA Saves FG N319bn Through IT Project Clearance

The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) has reported a significant financial saving of N319 billion for the Federal Government of Nigeria through its IT project clearance process. This announcement was made by Kachifu Abdullahi, the Director General of NITDA, during the inauguration of a multi-stakeholder coordination group (MSCG) designed to enhance the nation's digital governance framework.

Abdullahi emphasized the importance of institutionalizing IT operations to ensure a transformative process that aligns with the leadership's vision. He stated that the coordination group will play a crucial role in institutionalizing the frameworks, guidelines, and policies that govern IT project clearance across various ministries, departments, and agencies (MDAs).

This initiative is part of NITDA's broader strategy to streamline processes and improve efficiency in government operations by leveraging technology.
