Damilola Oni Shares Career Challenge with Senior Colleague

In an interview with Oyinmomo TV, Nollywood actress Damilola Oni shared a challenging experience that nearly derailed her acting career. She disclosed that a senior colleague refused to work with her, which created tension on set.

Oni recalled being cast in a major role and arriving on set excited, only to be approached by the producer after several hours of waiting. The producer inquired if there was a conflict with the colleague, to which Oni explained the situation.

Feeling upset and tempted to leave the production, she ultimately decided to stay, not wanting to appear defeated. Instead, she accepted a smaller role, which involved four to five scenes.

Oni described this painful experience as one that strengthened her determination to succeed in the industry. She expressed her belief that there is enough space for everyone to thrive and that no individual can stop another's progress.
