Jetour Unveils Hybrid Pickup at Abuja Auto Showcase

The Jetour Experience in Abuja, held from September 22 to 24, 2026, showcased the debut of a hybrid-powered double-cab pickup. This event took place at the Maha Event Centre, Area 8, Garki, following a successful reception in Lagos.

The pickup, built on the heavy-duty platform of the G700 luxury SUV, measures nearly 5.5 metres and features a high-tensile ladder-frame chassis and independent double-wishbone suspension, designed for both demanding terrain and highway driving. It is powered by the Kunpeng Super Hybrid CDM-O powertrain, which includes two high-output electric drive motors and a turbocharged petrol generator for battery charging.

The vehicle boasts a rapid charging capability, achieving 20 to 80 percent in about 10 minutes, a driving range of up to 1,300 kilometres, and fuel consumption as low as 1.39 litres per 100 kilometres. The pickup also features an intelligent XWD all-wheel-drive system, 9.5 inches of ground clearance, and a water-wading depth of 900mm.

The cabin combines utility with luxury, including a 35.4-inch panoramic Sky Screen and advanced driver-assistance systems.
