Paul Onuachu Commits to Trabzonspor Amid Transfer Interest

Paul Onuachu, a forward for Trabzonspor, has announced his decision to stay with the club, ending months of speculation regarding his transfer. Despite interest from Turkish rivals Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray, as well as Saudi Arabian clubs Al-Ahli and Al Hilal, Onuachu stated his commitment to Trabzonspor remains unwavering.

Last season, he scored 22 goals in 30 Süper Lig matches, finishing as joint-top scorer and contributing to Trabzonspor's Turkish Cup victory. Trabzonspor reportedly received offers, including €20m from Fenerbahçe and interest from Beşiktaş, but Onuachu emphasized his desire to remain in Trabzon, citing a strong connection to the city and its fans.

He is under contract until 2028, with the club valuing him between €25m and €30m. Onuachu also had a successful season overall, netting 28 goals in 43 appearances for club and country, and participated in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
