Primate Ayodele Denies Claims on Tinubu's 2027 Election Loss

Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, issued a statement denying reports that he claimed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu would lose his re-election bid in 2027. In a statement signed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, Ayodele explained that his prophecies are often misrepresented by political actors for personal gain.

He clarified that during a live service on Sunday, he stated, "If Tinubu loses the election, it will be painful for him," which was misinterpreted as a prediction of loss. Ayodele emphasized that he has a video recording of his statements and expressed shock at the intentional misrepresentation.

He urged political actors and media organizations to refrain from distorting his words and to seek clarification from his media office to avoid spreading falsehoods. Ayodele stated that he would reveal who would win the upcoming presidential election when the time is right.
