Primate Ayodele Denies Misquoted Prophecy on Tinubu

Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, clarified that he did not state President Bola Ahmed Tinubu would lose his second-term bid in 2027, as reported. In a statement signed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, Ayodele explained that his prophecies are often misrepresented by political actors for personal gain.

He referenced a video from a live service on Sunday where he stated, “If Tinubu loses the election, it will be painful for him,” which was misinterpreted as “Tinubu would lose in 2027.” Ayodele emphasized that he has not made any definitive predictions about the election outcome and warned against the misinterpretation of his statements. He urged media organizations to contact his office for clarifications to avoid spreading falsehoods.

Ayodele expressed concern over the professionalism of media outlets and called for an end to the misrepresentation of his prophecies.
