Davido's Sister Sharon Ademefun Discusses Fashion Spending

Sharon Ademefun, also known as Sharon Adeleke, the sister of popular Nigerian singer Davido, stated in an interview on The Fashion Round Table podcast that she no longer believes in purchasing expensive clothes. She mentioned that while some items justify their cost, others do not.

Ademefun specifically referenced the high prices of wedding guest dresses, noting that a $10,000 price tag for such a dress is hard to justify. She shared her personal experience regarding her wedding expenses, revealing that her husband paid $2,000 for her wedding dress, while she covered the costs for her 13 bridesmaids' dresses and an additional four or five hostesses.

In total, she spent less than $10,000 on her wedding attire. Ademefun also declared that she has made a decision not to engage directly with any Nigerian designer as she approaches her 40th birthday next year.
