Paul Bebenimibo, Tompolo denounced reports alleging his connection to a 21-day ultimatum for Kanu's release as false and mischievous. He emphasized his focus on protecting oil infrastructure and combating illegal oil activities in the Niger Delta region.

Tompolo also expressed loyalty to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and support for his administration. He urged the public and the federal government to disregard viral reports attempting to undermine national security efforts.
