Senator Kabiru Marafa Resigns from APC, Undecided on New Party

Former 2023 Presidential Campaign coordinator for Zamfara State, Senator Kabiru Marafa, has announced his resignation from the All Progressives Congress (APC) but is yet to decide on the party to join. Marafa cited injustice, neglect, and worsening insecurity in Zamfara as reasons for leaving the APC.

He expressed concerns over the state's security situation, particularly regarding kidnapping cases. Marafa mentioned that he is still assessing the political landscape before making a decision.

He criticized the leadership style of the APC at both state and national levels. Marafa represented Zamfara Central from 2011 to 2019 and emphasized the need for justice in party leadership.
