Broda Shaggi Shares Stray Bullet Ordeal and Recovery

Samuel Perry, known as Broda Shaggi, recounted a harrowing near-death experience after being struck by a stray bullet on March 9, 2026, during a brand activation event. He described the moment as frightening, noting that he lost consciousness before reaching the hospital.

Medical personnel considered transferring him to another hospital due to his worsening condition. Upon arrival at the second hospital, he was quickly attended to and moved to the emergency room.

Shaggi expressed his fear of not surviving and the concern about his ability to perform his comedy routines due to the injury. After the pain subsided the following morning, he began to reflect on the incident, questioning why it happened to him and considering it a sign to take a break from his demanding schedule since 2018.

He later traveled to Dubai for surgery, which allowed him to regain the ability to walk and stand. He expressed gratitude that the incident did not result in worse consequences.
