I Know Tinubu Well, I’ll Defeat Him if Given ADC Ticket – Amaechi

Former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, expressed confidence in defeating Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2023 presidential election if given the African Democratic Congress (ADC) ticket. Speaking at the X Spaces conversation, Amaechi cited his familiarity with Tinubu's political style as an advantage.

He emphasized his knowledge of Tinubu's strengths and weaknesses, claiming he would secure victory. Amaechi adamantly denied involvement in electoral malpractice and rejected appointments to the APC election planning committee, criticizing the party's alleged rigging tactics.

He vowed to end electoral malpractice if elected president and cease participation in rigging. Amaechi also disclosed that former Ekiti State governor, Kayode Fayemi, initiated talks that led to the formation of an opposition coalition under the ADC, featuring prominent figures like Atiku Abubakar and Nasir El-Rufai.
