I Lost A Dependable Friend And Brother – David Mark

Former Senate President and interim national chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Senator David Mark, expressed deep sadness over the passing of Chief Audu Ogbeh. In a statement released in Abuja, Mark described Ogbeh's death as a personal and national loss, referring to him as a dependable friend and brother.

Mark praised Ogbeh's contributions to Nigeria's political and social development, highlighting his rare conviction, forthrightness, and moral compass. Chief Ogbeh, a seasoned politician and technocrat, served as Minister of Communications in the Second Republic under President Shehu Shagari and later as Minister of Agriculture under President Muhammadu Buhari.

Senator Mark extended his condolences to the government and people of Benue State, as well as the Ogbeh family, urging them to take solace in the exemplary life lived by the late statesman.
