‘Ogbeh One Of Nigeria’s Finest, Most Fertile Minds’, ADC Chairman Mark Mourns

Senator David Mark of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) expressed deep sadness over the passing of former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chairman, Chief Audu Ogbeh, whom he described as one of Nigeria's finest and most fertile minds. Chief Ogbeh passed away at the age of 78 in his Abuja residence.

Mark mourned the loss, calling it a personal and national tragedy, highlighting Ogbeh's contributions to Nigeria's political and social development. He praised the late statesman for his conviction, forthrightness, and moral compass, noting that Ogbeh believed in unity, justice, fairness, and equity.

Ogbeh, a seasoned politician and technocrat, served as Minister of Communications under President Shehu Shagari and later as Minister of Agriculture under President Muhammadu Buhari. Mark extended his condolences to the government and people of Benue State, as well as the Ogbeh family, urging them to take solace in the exemplary life lived by the patriarch.
