Ugandan Woman Claims Husband Abandoned Family in US

Juliet Mbabazi, a Ugandan woman from Mbarara, has publicly claimed that her husband, Travis Preston, abandoned her and their two children, aged three and seven, after he returned to the United States. The couple was married for about two years, during which they welcomed their two children.

Mbabazi alleges that Preston ceased financial support for the family following his departure, leaving her to manage their upbringing alone. The situation has ignited discussions on social media, prompting calls for authorities to assist in locating Preston and ensuring he fulfills his responsibilities if the allegations are substantiated.

Ugandan singer Bruno K has intervened, appealing to Ugandans in the US, particularly those with military ties, to help find Preston. He also urged the US Embassy in Kampala to explore the possibility of American citizenship for Mbabazi's children and to provide any available assistance.

Additionally, Bruno K announced a fundraising campaign to support the family's immediate needs, including food and school expenses, while legal avenues are pursued. There has been no public response from Travis Preston regarding these allegations.
