Ugandan Woman Claims Husband Abandoned Family in US

Juliet Mbabazi, a Ugandan woman from Mbarara, has publicly stated that her husband, Travis Preston, abandoned her and their two children, aged three and seven, after he returned to the United States. They were married for approximately two years.

Following Preston's departure, Mbabazi alleges he ceased financial support, forcing her to independently raise their children. This situation has ignited discussions on social media, with many urging authorities to trace Preston and ensure he fulfills his responsibilities if the claims are validated.

Ugandan singer Bruno K has intervened, appealing to Ugandans in the US, particularly those with military ties, to help locate Preston. He has also called on the US Embassy in Kampala to determine if Mbabazi's children might be eligible for American citizenship or assistance.

In addition to these efforts, Bruno K announced a fundraising campaign to support Mbabazi with immediate needs such as food and school expenses. There has been no public response from Travis Preston or confirmation from US authorities regarding the allegations.
