In her Instagram post, Martins explained that her visit was intended to reconnect with the children she had previously bonded with and that they often requested her presence. She emphasized that her actions were not planned as a public event but were meant to create happy moments for the children.

Additionally, she mentioned her support for Seyi Tinubu's foundation, which provides a charity kitchen to ensure proper food outreach. Martins clarified that her cooking was linked to her charitable work and expressed respect for the laws governing environmental regulations in Lagos State, apologizing for any perceived nuisance caused by her actions.
