Tinubu Reaffirms Commitment to State Police in Nigeria

During a gathering at Aso Rock Villa in Abuja on a Monday night, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu reiterated his commitment to establishing state police across Nigeria. He emphasized that his administration remains determined to tackle insecurity and strengthen grassroots governance.

Tinubu expressed optimism about the country's ability to emerge from difficult times, acknowledging the challenges posed by uncertainty. He also expressed gratitude for the opportunity to celebrate the holy season of Ramadan, noting its coinciding with the Christian period of Lent, which he described as a moment symbolizing discipline, sacrifice, and faith.

Furthermore, he commended members of his party for their support and urged unity and harmony within the party, especially during ongoing local and state congresses. Tinubu concluded by encouraging Nigerians to remain steadfast, united, and collaborative with the government to achieve progress.
