Business mogul Otedola has filed a ₦1 billion lawsuit against a former presidential aide, Sani, over alleged defamatory remarks linking him to fuel subsidy fraud during the Goodluck Jonathan administration. Otedola vehemently denied the claims, stating his company, Zenon Petroleum, never traded petrol to access subsidy funds.

He emphasized his role in exposing the subsidy scam and vowed to protect his reputation. Otedola urged for transparency, calling for the release of the full report on the subsidy fraud probe.
