‘I Will Run In 2027’ – Atiku Declares Presidential Ambition

Former Peoples Democratic Party chieftain, Atiku, has declared his intention to run for the presidency in 2027. Accusing the ruling APC of trying to undermine his current momentum with the ADC coalition, Atiku dismissed speculation that he might contest the 2027 election.

He emphasized the need to rescue Nigeria from what he described as unprecedented corruption under the current administration. Atiku's spokesperson, Tunde Olusunle, reiterated his commitment to running for the top job in the next election cycle.

Despite reports suggesting Atiku may opt out of the 2027 race, he reaffirmed his determination to lead the nation. While some political figures in Lagos have suggested Atiku's interest in the presidency, a statement disowned by Atiku himself, he remains focused on his goal of a better Nigeria.
